3231C (Bay Trail) with monitor panel connected: Initial automatic touch calibration does not work

What happens?
When actuating the touch, the calibration point does not move. Therefore, the touch cannot be calibrated.

When does this behaviour occur?
The behaviour only occurs if the touch of the monitor panel (MP800 - MP9000; CS1000 - CS9000) was not plugged onto the USB socket at the DVI connector (X7; USB3).
The behaviour only occurs after a new installation of the firmware (restore) or after deleting the SD card of the 3231C controller.
In this case, the touch calibration appears automatically, the first time, the controller is started.

Which products are affected?
3231C controller with Intel Bay Trail processor and (MPxxxx) monitor panel connected to DVI and USB interface.
At the 3231C, the affected processor version can be identified by the coding 'M5H' in the type code on the nameplate (E32GAC10000M5H*XXX-02S133**000).

Short-term measures:
You only have to take one of the following two remedies to correct the behaviour. If possible, you should take the first remedy.
1. Use USB socket X7 (USB3) to connect the touch.
2. After booting has been completed, you can use a connected keyboard or the mouse to open the control panel and start touch calibration again. In this way, the touch can be calibrated.
