How can I display the Lenze device error texts in a 3rd party controller?
Description:
For a better diagnosis, it is helpful to read out an error that has occurred in the device and, if possible, to display it visually.
The Lenze i-series devices (i950, i750, i5550, etc.) show the current error code in index 0x603F (single inverter) and index 0x 683F (double inverter). Both indices have the data type UINT16.
PDO Mapping
I700, i750, i950 CiA Base, i550
Index 0x60F3 (0x683F) can be mapped into the ECAT Tx PDO.
I950 TA Speed etc.
On all i950 TA's, the error code on the Tx PDO variable Input Data is 4 (DINT 32 bit).
ECAT Parameterised CoE
Access is also possible via the CoE parameter channel.
From the Lenze Easy Starter, a txt file can be exported for each i Series device with all i700 error texts and the corresponding remedial measures and remarks. The texts are available in the file in German and English.
