9400 with SM301 - Automatic safe torque off and safety door interlock - performance level e

Function:

As soon as the motor falls below the speed limit set in C19, the SLS monitoring is activated in the SM301. If the SLS limit is fallen below, the door interlock is unlocked and the safety door can be opened. This activates STO and deactivates SLS.

If the door is closed again, the door interlock can be locked again by pressing the start button. This deactivates STO and the motor can restart. The start button must remain pressed until the speed has exceeded the limit value set in C19.

It is possible to open the safety door interlock with a non-safe output of the basic device and to evaluate the status by means of the safety module. In this way, the safe output of the SM301 can be used for further functions.
