Error reset via axis bus only possible to a limited extent

Eliminated from:

8400 TopLine: FW version = 13.00.00.00

Response of the new version?
Even errors that have not been reported via the axis bus can be reset. All nodes of the axis bus must work with a FW version ≥ 13.0.

Which products are affected?
8400 TopLine: FW version up to 12.01.00.00

What is the response?
Not all drive errors can be reset by LS_AxisBusIO.bResetFail=TRUE.

When does the problem occur?
With LS_AxisBusIO.bResetFail=TRUE only errors can be reset which also have been reported via the axis bus (IO axis bus is in the 'Error' status as well).

Diagnostics options?
If LS_AxisBusIO.bResetFail=TRUE is set on the axis bus master, the output LS_AxisBusIO.bResetFail_In must supply TRUE for 3ms for all slaves, irrespective of whether bFail_DigIn had been set before. If this is not the case, we are dealing with the response mentioned.

Short-term measures/recommendations?
An error reset covering all axes must be executed via an additional communication path, e.g. DigIO or CAN.

Evaluation:
The error reset function can only be used to a limited extent. An additional communication path for a reset function covering all axes requires a configuration and wiring effort.
