Explicit Messaging Process Data to Ethernet IP equipped 8400 Drives

This application example specifically deals with class 3 Explicit Messaging of Process Data to Ethernet IP Equipped 8400 Drives for use in Controllers.
Some Ethernet IP equipped controllers do not support Implicit (Class 1) messaging. It is possible to incorporate the 8400 drive via Ethernet IP allowing the drive to run the motion control application and the EIP equipped controller to perform simple data exchange to control the overall process.
