Pump A-B Selection with SMD drives

A common pumping application configures two identical pumps plumbed in parallel to provide back-up in the event that one pump fails. To equalize wear and to prevent premature failure of the pump seal, the pump operation is frequently switched, this configuration is commonly referred to as a "Pump A-B" switch.
