Functional description
Previously, heatsink fans on and fans inside 9400 HighLine devices were activated, inter alia, as a function of the CPU temperature C0069. At temperatures above 35°C, the fans were switched on permanently.
In the current firmware version, the way in which fan control depends on C0069 has been expanded so that the DC-bus voltage (C0053) now also plays a key role: the fans are only switched on if the DC-bus voltage is 400 V or lower.
The following conditions must be complied with for switching on the fan inside the device:
- The internal fan was swiched off for at least 5s and
- The internal fan does not indicate an error and
- o The controller is enabled or
- o The DC-bus voltage C0053 exceeds 650V DC or
- o the heatsink temperature C0061 exceeds 60°C or
- - The CPU temperature C0069 exceeds 35°C and
- - there is no undervoltage message and
- - the DC-bus voltage C0053 is less than 400V DC
Applications
Applications where fan noise is classed as a disturbance (e.g. when giving training, in public buildings)
