Flying restart circuit was deactivated as default value in C0990

Which products are affected?
9400 HighLine axis controllers from Firmware version 05.00.30.00

Functional description
If the flying restart circuit is activated in C0990, a flying restart process will be started automatically to determine the current motor speed after the controller inhibit (or DC injection braking) has been deactivated. So far the flying restart circuit had been activated as default value in code C0990. Depending on the connected motor the flying restart process takes an unnecessarily long time. This in particular applied to motors of smaller sizes. Since most applications do not require a flying restart circuit, the activated flying restart circuit was a waste of time. For this reason the flying restart circuit has been deactivated as default value in code C0990. Now the user must decide on a case-by-case basis whether the flying restart circuit is to be activated or not.

Applications
A flying restart circuit is required in applications whose controller is operated in V/f control or sensorless vector control and if it cannot be ensured that the controller is started from a standstill only.
