Functional description
So far, changing over from one parameter set to another via C00002=201...204 has taken approx. 3 seconds given that no communication module had been provided. Now the parameter set changeover has been optimised and takes less than one second if only a few codes are changed. If in a worst-case scenario all codes are changed, it takes a little less than 3.0 seconds. If communication modules are provided, the time for a parameter set changeover is considerably longer. This new feature provides the possibility of excluding individual communication modules from the changeover via code C00227 to achieve short times for the parameter set changeover. The parameter set changeover, particularly for active modules, is considerably quicker then. Excluding individual communication modules from the parameter set changeover makes sense if different parameter sets are used (e.g. for different tools in the machine), but the parameters for the module stay the same (e.g. communication parameters).
