Functional description
The basic LS_ManualJog function has been extended by the 'Manual jog including step limitation' function. For this purpose the MAN_bStepMode input has been created on the system block. The manual jog including step limitation is activated via the MAN_bStepMode input. The two modes, 'Manual jog including step limitation' and 'Manual jog including breakpoint', cannot be active at the same time. If they are requested simultaneously via the MAN_bStepMode and MAN_bIntermediateStopMode control inputs, only the 'Manual jog including breakpoint' mode will be active. In the 'Manual jog including step limitation' mode the drive is traversed by the 'step distance' parameterised in C02625 if a direction request is made via the MAN_bJogPositive/MAN_bJogNegative control inputs. The drive stops after it has been traversed by that distance. A new positive edge for the direction request causes the function to restart or the distance counter to reset, respectively, even if the drive has not come to a standstill yet. If the distance request is reset before the distance is fully traversed, the drive will stop immediately (allowing for the set deceleration).
Applications
The 'Manual jog including step limitation' can e.g. be used to come to a standstill after a certain distance has been traversed.
