Functional description
The module checks the station name issued for DNS conformity. The station name currently effective is displayed in the Lenze code L-C13864 / 14864 and the saved station name in the Lenze code L-C13899 / 14899. The station name in the Lenze code L- C13899 / 14899 only takes effect after mains switching of the communication module or standard device.
Applications
In the Profinet I/O system, the station name is used to clearly address the node. The name must be identical on the Profinet controller and device and can be issued by the Lenze engineer or directly by the controller via the Profinet network.
