Function description
The cyclic synchronous position mode is a new mode which is available in the DS 402 technology application. This new mode can be selected by entering a value of 8 via the I-0x6060 index.
Applications
The cyclic synchronous position mode is identical to the interpolated position mode in terms of interpolation methods. The only differences are that bit 4 of the control word needs not be set in order to activate the operating mode and that the position setpoint in units is calculated by adding the target position (I-607A) and offset position (I-60B0) objects.
The additional operating mode leads to changes in the list of objects:
• 0x6060 Modes of operation (additional value: 8)
• 0x6061 Modes of operation display (additional value: 8)
• 0x6502 Supported drive modes (new value: 0x3e0)
• 0x607a Target position (new object)
• 0x60b0 Position offset (new object)
