What happens?
At the end of a drive set download (DDS project, parameter data, application data) the card module displays the error message E4. This error message means that the download has not been completed successfully and must be repeated.
When does the problem occur?
The problem described above can occur when
• the size of the user codes defined in the DDS project is greater than or equal to 99 %
and
• the digital input E1 of the Drive PLC is connected to 24 V.
Possible diagnostics?
Use the DDS message window to check during the compilation of the DDS project whether the parameter size is greater than or equal to 99 %.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
Unplug the connector for the digital inputs (X3) from the Drive PLC before starting the download with the card module.
Evaluation:
The function restriction can only occur if the two conditions described above are met simultaneously. By unplugging the connector for the digital inputs the function restriction can be avoided.
