Rounding when a value is entered

Which products are affected?
ESP-HMI1-P (HMI Designer V1.7)

What happens?
A value entered by the user is rounded by the keypad.

Example:
The user enters the value 99.1. The keypad transmits the value 990999 in fixed point format (corresponds to 99.0999).

When does the problem occur?
The response described before occurs dependent on the value entered if a variable of the xxx.x, xxx.xx or xxx.xxx type has been created.

Possible diagnostics?
In case of the parameter communication the keypad reads back the value entered from the device connected. In this case the rounded value instead of the entered value is indicated.

Short-term measures/recommendations?
Use the Dword type when defining the variables. Decimal numbers can then only be entered in fixed point format.

Evaluation:
When values are entered, the keypad rounds depending on the value entered. Usually, variables in the HMI project are created with the Dword type. The function restriction does not occur with this setting.
