Function description
Devices with 145 – 695 A can be operated with increased continuous power under the following basic conditions:
• Switching frequency 1 kHz or 2 kHz
• Maximum current in C00022 < 150 % of the rated device current
• Maximum permitted ambient temperature 40 °C
A motor can typically be operated at the next highest power. The operating mode is activated via C01199 = 1. The user is responsible for adherence to the basic conditions.
Applications
Smaller drive controllers may be used under appropriate ambient conditions. In certain circumstances this reduces space requirements and costs.
