Normalisation of analog signals in the 8200 vector
Topic:
Normalisation of analog signals in the 8200vector, effects of the changeover via C0127.
Answer:
The normalisation of the main setpoint (NSET1-N1) can be changed via code C0127 (see Normalisation of the speed setpoint dependent on C0127; doc. ID 200602656). Code C0127 is, however, only effective in the function block for the setpoint conditioning, NSET1. If a process data input word is combined with an analog signal of a different function block (for instance PCTRL1-SET1), the normalisation will always be: ±24000 ≡ ±480 Hz.
The same applies to process data output words. The changeover of code C0127 does not have any effects on the output words. If, e. g. the analog input is directly assigned to a process data output word, the normalisation will also be ±480 Hz ≡ ±24000. The analog input is previously conditioned such that 100 % of the input voltage/input current correspond to the value in C0011.
