The displayed angle of rotation of the reel (dnPos_p) varies very strongly

Which products are affected?
The L_WndCalDiameter function block (included in the LenzeWinder.lib and LenzeWinderV2020.lib libraries) is affected by the restriction.

What happens?
The angle of rotation of the reel (L_WndCalDiameter.dnPos_p) indicates strongly varying values although the reel stands still.

When does the problem occur?
The problem occurs if a high numerical value is entered for the denominator of the gearbox factor (wGearDenom). The currently displayed angle of rotation is by an inconstant offset too big. The offset mentioned before results from the speed remainder multiplied by the gearbox factor denominator.

Possible diagnostics?
The angle of rotation of the reel can be observed at the L_WndCalDiameter.dnPos_p function block output. In the templates the angle of rotation is indicated by the g_dnPos_p variable. If a strongly varying value is displayed here, the denominator of the gearbox factor is to be reduced considerably on trial. Afterwards, the angle of rotation should be nearly constant.

Short-term measures/recommendations?
Always enter the smallest possible numerator-denominator ratio for the gearbox ratio, e. g. instead of 4000/1000 => 4/1.

Evaluation:
The behaviour will immediately be detected when the angle of rotation is evaluated in an application.
The required calculation of the optimised gearbox factor as workaround is to be considered as a restriction in the ease of operation concerning the function.
