TA ¨positioning sequence control¨, parameterisation of the step sequence

Which products are affected?
E94ASHExxx4 (9400 Servo Drives HighLine, Single Drive)
E94AMHExxx4 (9400 Servo Drives HighLine, Multi Drive)

TA 'positioning sequence control' (Appl.-ID 100602103), Version 1.1.0

What happens?
When changing the step sequence, e. g. when inserting or deleting steps, the numbers of the jump destinations (C04514/x) in the remaining steps are adjusted according to the step sequence. The corresponding update for the jump destinations after expiry of the monitoring time for processing of the profiles (C04516/x) is not adjusted.

When does the problem occur?
Changes in existing step sequences with branching via jump destinations.

Possible diagnostics?
Checking of the codes C04516/x and/or comparison with C04514/x

Short-term measures/recommendations?
Adjust the parameters for the jump destinations (C04516/1…100) separately after completing the creation of the step sequence. Otherwise the settings will need to be checked every time the step sequence is modified.

Evaluation
Due to this restriction, the parameterisation of the positioning control can in some cases be very susceptible to errors. The user will need to plan more time accordingly for the project planning of the application. The testing requirements during commissioning increase.
