Flying restart in inverse direction: Selecting the direction of the flying restart via C0140

Applications
Applications in which the flying restart circuit is used (e.g. fans) and in which the direction of rotation of the coasting machine is not known before enabling the controller (e. g. fan wheel is driven by an air flow in an undefined direction).

Function description
The search direction for the flying restart circuit can be selected under code C0140 if the direction of rotation of the machine is known. The execution of a flying restart circuit inverse the direction of the speed setpoint applied ('Flying restart in inverse direction') can also be set. If the direction of rotation is not known it can be searched successively in both directions. It is possible to define in which direction of rotation to search at first (e.g. preferred coasting direction).
The setting of C0140 for the individual modes is given in the table.

The Lenze setting (C0140 = 0) only comprises the flying restart in direction of the applied speed setpoint and is therefore compatible with the previous software versions.
