Applications which have to detect modified motor positions in the no-voltage status of the encoder/drive
Function description
For absolute value encoders, serving as feedback system at terminal X8 of the controller, the monitoring function was extended.
After switching on the controller the absolute position information is read several times during initialisation phase and it is detected, if the same value is transferred to the drive. A deviation ≤ 5 ° at the motor shaft is tolerated and at the drive does not trip.
The status is indicated via error code SD7 which is already used to display a communication error for these encoder systems.
