Why is the button in the GDC task bar to start the CAM Designer no longer available after the GDC software has been updated?
Answer:
If CamDesigner version 1.x is installed before the update of the GDC software no button appears in the updated GDC software version. If you wish to install the button in the current GDC version observe the installation sequence: first update GDC and then install CamDesigner version 1.x.
The installation of the button of CamDesigner of later versions > 2.x is not supported as the operating concept is completely different (CamManager / CamDesigner). If GDC is updated the button no longer appears.
If, apart from CamDesigner 1.x, CamDesigner Professional 2.x is also contained it can also serve as a GDC source.
