Selection of a device memory range is not possible

ESP-HMI1-P (HMI Designer Version 1.3 and 1.4)

What happens?

It is not possible to select a device memory area in the field data area – source of the project component data exchange area.

When does the problem occur?

Sporadically a predefined device memory area cannot be selected from the field data area - source of the project component data exchange area.

Possible diagnostics?

None.

Short-term measures/recommendations?

Select another type from the field data area - type, e. g. command area instead of input area. Afterwards, please return to the area desired. It is now possible to select the device memory areas.
