CDATA-XACT, CDATA-XPOS - functional description of the output signals

Question:

How do CDATA-XPOS and CDATA-XACT relate to one another?

Answer:

There are two different types of command value:

1. Relative command value (master frequency) => is interfaced with CDATA-DFIN (Code 1332 = 0).
2. Absolute command value (angle; e.g. from the system bus) => is interfaced with CDATA-XIN (Code 1332 = 1).
Re 1.) The same value is emitted at outputs CDATA-XPOS and CDATA-XACT. It is the sum of the position of the lead value integrator (taking CDATA-XFAKT into consideration) and the input CDATA-XOFFS.

Re 2.) The sum of CDATA-XIN and CDATA-OFFS-XIN is emitted at CDATA-X-ACT. Since the lead angle integrator of the CDATA no longer has any influence on the cam profile, the setpoint branch at CDATA-DFIN can be used separately. This result is then output to CDATA-XPOS.
