How can sync frames be sent with a keypad unit (e.g. H310)?
Answer:
All Lenze keypad units are capable of sending a sync frame. The necessary configuration has to be conducted in the project manager of the development environment HMI-Designer.
To connect the drive controllers each keypad unit has a CAN port, either onboard or in the form of a CAN adaptor. In the project manager this interface is represented as a project component (CAN adaptor or CAN port). To parameterise the interface select that component and open it in the menu Edit Properties in the Properties Ports dialog.
In the Sync. time box the interval can be set with which the keypad unit sends a sync frame with identifier 128 (hexadecimal: 80). The default setting is 0, which means that no sync is sent.
