Saving parameter sets in keypad 9371, which is activated in the drive controller after transfer?

Question:
Why, after saving all the parameter sets to operator display unit 9371BB, is the factory adjustment sometimes in the RAM of the drive controller?

Answer:
If you save all the parameter sets externally from keypad unit 9371 via C0003 = 11, all the parameter sets will be transferred from the drive controller to the keypad.

After the saving procedure the parameter set is always loaded into the memory of the drive controller which was entered in code C0002 in the parameter set prior to external storage. It is does not matter where the current parameter set was written prior to external storage.

Even if the current data has been saved, e. g. in parameter set 1, the factory setting is loaded after external storage if C0002 is set to 0 (factory setting)!

If this procedure is undesirable, before external storage you must save your current parameters once via C0003 to the parameter set with which you subsequently wish to work. Then load via C0002 the just saved parameter set once again and you can then execute C0003 = 11.
