FAST IoT Machine Monitoring - current documentation and service description

Description

The purpose of this application is to reduce cost of maintenance by having automated and continues collected & monitoring machine process data from relevant sensor and actuator which helps the maintenance to plan better when and which maintenance work must be done.

Possible upcoming machine damage can be better identified at an early stage, which prevents unplanned downtimes. It provides the foundation for condition monitoring, prediction, and machine learning algorithms.

Collecting manual machine data like pressure, temperature, flow, running time is personnel-intensive and not accurate enough. Not having automated notification, if process data reaches limits or is outside the specifications it can create machine damage or higher wear and tears.

This App provides an OPC UA connectivity and option to select relevant process data. The process data has configurable limits and runtime parameters. Process data get stored and can be monitoring via trend graphs. Alerts service monitoring the limits and trigger a pre-warning or warning notification and store this event in the database for further evaluation.
