The FSoE address set via the DIP switch can, for example, be read out by the PLC program in the standard controller using an SDO read command, The FSoE address is located at index 0xF980:1. This short-term measure is not available with the C25BAYA42 module.
By reading out the set FSoE address, an incorrectly set DIP switch can be quickly detected when the machine is commissioned or serviced.
