i700 supply module: Operation with earth-leakage circuit breaker (FI, RCD) 300 mA possible, conditions have been supplemented in the hardware manual (all HW versions)
Function extension:
The i700 servo inverter can be operated with an earth-leakage circuit breaker (FI, RCD) type B, 300 mA if the leakage current that may occur is below the trigger threshold of the RCD.
For this, the mains connection of the i700 supply modules must be in accordance with the conditions of EMC category C2:
Connection via RFI filter (RFI) / mains filter (MF),
Number of devices and motor cable lengths as specified in the i700 hardware manual, chapter 7.7.2 Compliance with EMC category C2 (residential areas), Fig.: 7-3.
Note:
Despite compliance with the above conditions, increased leakage currents may occur in rare cases. As a consequence, the RCD may trip sporadically.
