Sporadic failure of the internal communication between Profibus I/O FIF module (with external 24V supply) and basic device after mains connection

Eliminated from:
Fieldbus function module E82ZAFPC201 Profibus I/O from firmware 1.1 onwards

Behaviour of the new version?
From firmware version 1.1 onwards, the internal communication between Profibus I/O FIF module and basic device is no longer interrupted when connecting the mains.

Which products are affected?
Fieldbus function module E82ZAFPC201 Profibus I/O equipped with a firmware lower than 1.1

What happens?
When connecting the 230 V/400 V of the basic device it may sporadically happen that the internal communication between module and basic device is not established when the Profibus I/O FIF module is externally supplied with 24 V.

When does the problem occur?
The problem only occurs if in case of the basic device the supply voltage is connected to the mains while the Profibus I/O module remains externally supplied with 24 V.

Possible diagnostics?
The behaviour has occurred if after mains connection of the basic device the green 'connection' LED continues blinking and is not permanently on.

Short-term measures/recommendations?
None.

Evaluation:
The axis cannot be approached if the error has occurred since the basic device does not receive process data from the Profibus module.
