Behaviour of the new version?
If the Engineer Ethernet search function 'ESDCP' is used to look for available Lenze Profinet nodes the currently effective and therefore correct IP address of the Profinet communication module is transmitted to the Engineer.

What happens?
When reading out IP parameters of the Profinet communication module by means of the Engineer the module does not return the currently used IP parameters but the ones which are saved in the EEPROM of the module.
When does the problem occur?
The IP address in the EEPROM of the communication module is deleted if an IP address is transmitted to the module via the Profinet master (Siemens S7). This is prescribed according to the Profinet specification.
Possible diagnostics?
If the ESDCP Ethernet search function does not find the correct IP address, the behaviour described before has occurred.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
None.
Evaluation:
Since this function restriction refers to project planning access and / or diagnostics access processes between Engineer and communication module, a malfunction of the plant will not occur.
