Functional description
Both the new sine and cosine track of a sin/cos encoder connected to X8 can only be recorded in the Engineer oscilloscope. For this purpose, two new system variables are provided, Common.dnLinearTechnologyEncoderTrackSinus and Common .dnLinearTechnologyEncoderTrackCosinus.
Note:
The variables are NEITHER displayed in [V] nor [%], they are displayed in the scaling of the encoder monitoring. For a display in [V], use the display limit to adapt the scaling in the Engineer oscilloscope to +2.86 V.
Like all motor control signals, the signals can be scanned at max. 16 [kHz]. Depending on the real encoder speed, oscilloscope recording may include aliasing effects which must be considered during signal evaluation.
