Functional description
The way in which the controller will behave in the event of a task overrun (i. e. when the runtime is exceeded) can be set in the 'Configure exception handling' dialog in the FB Editor of the L-force Engineer.
Applications
These are applications where, for reasons of operational reliability, analog and digital outputs, as well as the state bus and brake control, must be set to a defined level if a task overrun occurs. Values can also be specified for each individual element as regards the output ports that determine the content of fieldbus telegrams, if such telegrams are transmitted.
