Function extension:
The frequency inverter is equipped with an I²xt monitoring of the brake resistor. The I²xt utilisation of the controller is proportional to the braking power converted. This monitoring function can be activated under code L-C00574 (default setting = deactivated). Moreover, the parameters of the brake resistor (brake resistance value [L-C00129], rated power [L-C00130] and thermal capacity [L-C00131]) must be set. The 'Fault' setting leads to a deactivation of the braking operation when the brake resistor is overloaded (switching off the brake transistor).
Every application has to be checked individually whether it is permissible to switch off the braking operations (critical are e.g. hoists and DC-bus connections).
