Device data update cannot be installed for the current software product

Which products are affected?
Device data update 5 (GU5)

What happens?
Although the current version of the Lenze software product (e. g. GDC V4.10) is installed, the device data update is not able to find and update it.

When does the problem occur?
The response described before occurs if an older version (e. g. GDC V4.9) of the same product is installed or deinstalled after the latest version of the Lenze software product (e. g. GDC V4.10) has already been installed before.

Possible diagnostics?
None.

Short-term measures?
Install the latest version of the Lenze software product again.

Evaluation:
An installed, current Lenze software product is neither found nor updated by the device date update 5. In this case the software product does not support the device versions which have been installed by means of GU5. Older versions of a software product are only installed after a more recent version in exceptional cases. It is more likely that an older version of a software product is deinstalled after a more recent version has been installed.
