DFIN, new fault message ¨P19¨ when 500 kHz are exceeded at the master frequency input

Which products are affected?
9300EP position controller V7.0
9300ES servo controller V7.0

Function description
If too high frequencies are applied to the master frequency input terminal X9 (DFIN), increments will be lost due to an internal limitation. A distance offset is the result. The internal limitation at 500 kHz inevitably results from the available display range of the variables used and can therefore not be changed.
In order to display if a too high master frequency might have been pending the new fault message 'P19' (LECOM error number 169 (trip)) has been implemented.
The fault response is configured under C1292 by selecting trip, warning (default) or off. The set fault response is activated if the input value is limited in the 'master frequency input' function block (DFIN).
How to reset the fault message:
  • P19 trip:  reset by trip reset
  • P19 warning:  automatically if the master frequency is smaller than 500 kHz
  • Off:   no reset required

Irrespective of the fault response, the MONIT-P19 display signal always switches at the point of time when the limitation in the DFIN function block is executed.
