¨Profile continuation¨

Applications
This function is especially important in case of positioning processes, e.g. in order to complete the material feed process correctly.

Function description
When changing again to the 'Positioning' state via the 'Ctrl.ProfEnable' bit if the profile continuation function is activated (C3096/x = xxxx x1xx) the aborted profile will be continued until the target position is reached. If a positioning profile is aborted while the profile continuation function is activated, the 'ProfCont' bit is set in status word 2 (Stat2.Bit6).

If a profile is aborted while the profile continuation function (C3096/x = xxxx x0xx) is deactivated, the profile is considered to be completed when changing again to the 'Positioning' state. In order to ensure the continuation of the aborted profile when changing again to the 'Positioning' state the number of the aborted profile must be entered in the control word under PNoSet_x (Ctrl1.Bits04-07). The number of the profile which has been aborted before can be taken over form status word 1 (Stat1.Bits06-09).

The additional function 'Profile continuation' can be activated in the following positioning modes:
0, 1, 2, 3, 10, 11, 13, 20, 21, 23,110, 111, 112, 113
