- Difference description concerning the Global Drive PLC Developer Studio from V2.3 to V2.2

Function extenstions

- Version control of the libraries included in the delivery package of the Drive PLC V7.x target system

Eliminated function restrictions
- The wrong DDS version is uninstalled when uninstalling DDS
- The amount of memory required on the hard disk is not correctly calculated during installation
- Binary file (*.bin) with a size of 0 kbyte
- DDS crashes when compiling codes without a unit
- External data types are not translated into English
- Drive PLC (V6.x) Manual not installed
- The information dialog does not correctly display which software packages exist
- No monitoring in actions programmed in CFC
- Message 'DDS already installed'
- DDS does not respond any more after logging off
- Rounding error when transmitting code initialisation values
- Changing a code leads to a communication error

The following function restrictions have been eliminated thanks to the update of the Global Drive PLC Developer Studio Professional from V2.3.4.0 to V2.3.6.0:

- The Drive PLC V7.x library directory only contains new libraries
- LenzeDrive0100.lib is not added to a new project
- LenzeIOSystemV0102.lib is not installed for Servo PLC V2.x and Drive PLC V2.x
- Compilation error when using the Lenze8200Drive0101.lib library

From 22/03/2005 until 07/04/2005 the update of the Global Drive PLC Developer Studio Professional from V2.x to V2.3.4.0 was only available on the Application Knowledge Base (AKB) of the Lenze Internet page. On 21st April 2005 the update of the Global Drive PLC Developer Studio Professional V2.3.4.0 was replaced by the current series version of the Global Drive Developer Studio Professional (V2.3.6.0) in the AKB. The Global Drive PLC Developer Studio Basic with software version 2.3 is not affected by the function restrictions described.

Compatibility with previous versions
Upwards compatible in terms of function. Higher software versions support all functions included in previous software versions.
