ESP-SP-POS1 ― Positioner Software Package V3.3
Positioner Template
Function description
With the positioning mode 'SpeedTPRelative' a constant speed is used to travel continuously to a TouchProbe sensor. A recognised TP signal activates a relative remaining path positioning.
After a maximum possible distance of 231 increments the internal position integrator flows over from +231 to -231 or vice versa.
If an overflow occurs, the home position is deleted (g_bHomePositionAvailable=FALSE) and a 'PosIntegratorOverflow' warning is indicated.
This warning can be evaluated via the 'g_wErrorNumber' variable.
This overflow does not affect the relative remaining path positioning.
The software limits have to be deactivated (C3040 = 0 and C3041 = 0) in order to travel continuously.
Applications
Continuous feed processes with TouchProbe-controlled remaining path positioning.
