With the aid of a travel switching point, e.g., peripherals such as painting nozzles or cutters can be started as a function of the tool position.
Function description
This function makes its possible to realise 32-bit travel switching points, i.e. digital switches with a binary state (FALSE/TRUE) that is dependent on the actual position of the machine component. The FB also supports the compensation of delays in external switching elements (dead-time compensation).
