Facility for switching the motor control system between the internal position control system and an external setpoint interface.
Function description
In the Stand-By mode, the template can be switched to an external setpoint interface. During this process the motor control system is decoupled from the profile generator and follows the external setpoint for velocity, torque or angular difference. This function is used for coupling to slave axes and for integrating the positioning system, e.g., in a digital frequency group. The position control system follows the position change made and can continue to operate with accurate positioning following deactivation of the external setpoints. Here the max. travel range of ± 2^13 - 1 increments must not be exceeded.
