Application:
- Display of the tool position in the drive controller regarding the machine zero (machine zero regarding the mechanical construction)
- In applications in which conventional referencing is not possible (e.g. in order to avoid damages of the machine and product) this function can be used to assign a defined position. When switching on the voltage, the drive knows the current position for tools, products, etc. referring to the machine clock pulse.
- Figure of the tool's position in the drive controller referred to the machine zero (machine zero referred to the mechanical construction)
Description:
Compare to version 3.0, this function has been extended and is now available for movements in the limited travelling range and for endless movements (feed). When switching on the mains voltage (control supply voltage) the system determines the position of the drive via the set feedback system. An absolute value encoder as feedback is required:
- Resolver (to be equated with a single-turn absolute value encoder)
- Single-turn absolute value encoder
- Multi-turn absolute value encoder
The handling of the function, parameter setting, connection in function block CCRTL has not changed compared to V3.0.
