Two motors are positioned end to end such that the discs fitted to their shafts are aligned next to each other (Figure 1).
The motor discs are marked with the same sequence of colored lines, offset at 90 degree intervals, around the discs.
The two drives should first home the motors and then align their own shaft to the colored marks on the other motor shaft.
The drives should then perform a sequence of moves showing different alignments of the marks on each motor shaft.
