Connecting a switch/potentiometer unit to an 8400 motec and commissioning it

Question:
How can you operate the 8200 motec switch/potentiometer unit on an 8400 motec?

 

Answer:
The switch/potentiometer unit must be wired as described in the attached document. After this, the DIPs on the DU must be activated, control mode 'Terminal 16' must be selected and the motor must be configured.
