Can, in case of a multilingual project, the language, in which the HMI Designer displays the fields, be changed later?
Answer:
Yes. In the dialog Project languages and fonts (menu Configuration>Project languages and fonts) in the field language the sequence of the languages can be modified via the arrow keys <▲> and <▼>. The first language (1:) is the language in which the HMI Designer displays the fields, e. g. marking fields, text fields…
When a new project is generated the HMI Designer creates the first language automatically. This is the same language which is set in the dialog Language (menu Option>Language) for the HMI Designer's surface, this means either German or English.
Application:
For documentation of a HMI project screenshots of the operating pages can be created easily in the required language.
