CAN-OUT function block when base configuration C0005 = xxxx3 (AIF) is not included in the processing table

Question:

Why is the function block CAN-OUT automatically eliminated from the processing table when a base configuration C0005 = xxxx3 (control via AIF) is selected?

Answer:

The devices have pre-defined base configurations for different applications. The difference between the base configurations is in the function block interconnection, in the used function blocks and in the parameter settings.

When a base configuration is selected under C0005 the existing function block interconnection, the processing table and the codes are correspondingly overwritten (analogous to the loading of the default setting under C0002).
The selection of a base configuration with AIF communication (C0005 = xxxx3) causes elimination of CAN-OUT from the processing table. The default setting does not include CAN-OUT, as usually only one of the communication channels (AIF or system bus CAN) is used.
The function block CAN-OUT can then be inserted in the processing table, if both communication channels are supposed to be used.
