L_MC4P_PathRefFromFile: Tolerance for programming arcs using G-code can be adjusted by application (fixed as of V03.31.00)

Removed from:
Library   L_MC4P_RoboticHandling (FAST Motion)  as of V03.31.00
                    (Update via Package Manager)

Behavior of the new version:
The value of the tolerance can now be set via the public property 'L_MC4P_PathRefFromFile.SetCircTargetTolerance' public property.
The initial value of the tolerance is now set to 0.1 mm so that specifying the center point and the target position with two decimal places is sufficient.

Description of behavior:
When specifying an arc, the target point and the center point (center point representation), this may lead to ambiguous circle radii due to the given starting point.
Typically, the achievable accuracy depends on the number of decimal places specified for the coordinate words x, y, z and i, j, k.
The radii are checked for equality using a tolerance of 1e-6 mm.

Under what conditions does the behavior occur?

  • Programming a circle (G2/G3) in G-code in center point representation with a small number of decimal places for the positions.
Affected products:
