Sine/cosine encoder and error message overrun after rotor position adjustment (remains inside B-SW)
Which products are affected?
Axis module ECSxA series, operating software V3.0
What happens?
When using a Hiperface sine/cosine absolute value encoder (SRS50), a task overrun with the corresponding error message (Overrun) can occur sporadically after a rotor position adjustment.
When does the problem occur?
After a rotor position adjustment with feedback via a Hiperface sine/cosine absolute value encoder (SRS50)
Possible diagnostics?
'Overrun' error message.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
None. The rotor position adjustment is carried out correctly despite the error message. As a result, the drive works again after mains connection and the overrun message does not occur any longer.
Evaluation:
After the error message occurred, the drive can be put into operation again by applying the simple measure (mains connection) described before.
