In the vector control mode (C0006 = 1) the setpoint of the magnetising current to be injected is calculated from the motor current data (C0088) and rated power factor (C0090). If the user enters a rated current under C0088 which is considerably larger than the rated current of the frequency inverter used an impermissible heating of the motor and the frequency inverter may occur. As a result the set magnetising current is limited to 66 % of the maximum output current of the frequency inverter.
