Using the input assistant for motor data for selecting the MFEMA motor settings (eliminated as of device data update 17)
Eliminated as of:
Device data update 17
Behaviour of the new version:
The input assistant for motor data enters the correct V/f base frequency for MFEMA motors in the parameter set of the 8200 vector.
What happens?
The voltage output by the 8200 vector is too high. This leads to a higher magnetising current and thus to a higher motor temperature.
When does the problem occur?
The V/F base frequency (= C0015) entered by the GDC input assistant for motor data for MFEMA motors in the parameter set of the 8200 vector is too low.
Which products are concerned?
Global Drive Control V4.13
8200 vector
MFEMA motors
Possible diagnostics:
For MFEMA motors, the V/f base frequency (= C0015) must be slightly higher than the rated motor frequency (= C0089).
Short-term measures/recommendations:
Install device data update 17 or higher.
Assessment:
The V/f base frequency selected by the GDC input assistant for motor data for MFEMA motors in the 8200 vector is too low. The function restriction has been eliminated with device data update 17.
