Oscillation of the drive during field weakening operation (remedied from B-SW V6.6)
Remedied from:
ECS axis module B-SW V6.6
Behaviour of new version?
The drive does not oscillate any longer during field weakening operation due to the reduction of the default setting for the control parameters of the field weakening controller (codes C0577 and C0578).
Which products are affected?
ECS axis module B-SW ≤ V6.5
What happens?
Oscillation of the drive during field weakening operation.
When does the problem occur?
Depending on the motor used and the mechanical frame conditions the drive may oscillate when using the default setting of the parameters for the field weakening controller.
Possible diagnostics?
Measurement or noises while the machine is running
Short-term measures/recommendations?
Assess the speed behaviour of the drive by means of an oscilloscope and adapt the parameters in C0577 and C0578. Usually, they have to be reduced.
Evaluation:
Not critical since this problem only occurs during commissioning and can be avoided by adapting the control circuits.
